21 YEARS OF PAWAN KALYAN

It's been exactly 21 years since Pawan Kalyan mania started in Tollywood. On this day (11th October) in 1996, Pawan's first movie, 'Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi', directed by late EVV Satyanarayana released. ANR's granddaughter Supriya (Sumanth's sister) played the female lead in this movie.

Pawan Kalyan stunned the audiences with his martial arts in this movie and gradually, he has grown from strength to strength in his career and turned the 'Power Star' that he is today. The films Pawan had chosen during the early stages of his career amassed huge following among the youth. He floored the youth with films like 'Suswagatham', 'Tholiprema' etc and 'Khushi' turned out to be a game changer. The SJ Surya directorial turned out to be a huge blockbuster and Pawan's craze among the youth has grown leaps and bounds. Then started the bad phase in his career. After facing failures for over a decade, Pawan Kalyan made a grand comeback with 'Gabbar Singh'. The huge success of that film was a testimony of the fact that Pawan's craze among fans hadn't gone down despite his continuous failures. 'Attarintiki Daaredi' turned out to be an industry hit breaking previous records. Pawan Kalyan fans celebrate this day (11th October) every year as Pawanism day as a tribute to their favourite star.

Ever since Pawan Kalyan decided to enter politics, he has been receiving huge support from his fans. His fans are actively participating in 'Janasena' party activities and are ready to support him in every endeavor and the decision he takes. Currently acting in Trivikram's movie, the ambiguity over Pawan's filmy career continues as he wants to plunge into full-time politics. Nonetheless he continues to be a demigod to his fans.

Congratulating Pawan Kalyan on completing 21 years in Tollywood. Hope he does good to the people as a politician and continues to entertain the audiences as an actor as well.
