run-of-the-mill entertainer

G.Nageswara Reddy, who is riding high on the success of "Eedo Rakam Aado Rakam", teamed up with Sushanth for the movie 'Aatadukundaam Raa'. The film has Sonam Bajwa as the female lead. This film has hit the screens and read on find out if it will give much needed impetus to the career of Sushanth, who has been struggling to get a foothold.

Karthik (Sushanth) is an NRI who comes to India. He is the nephew of Vijay Ram (Murali Sharma). He falls in love with Vijay Ram's daughter Shruthi (Sonam). But it turns out that Karthik has a secret mission and his main purpose of visiting India is best known to him. 26 years ago, Vijay Ram had differences with his best friend and business partner Ananda Rao (Anand), due to a misunderstanding. Karthik also tries to sort out that problem. What is Karthiks mission ? What is time machine's role in this plot ? Watch the film for answers.

Sushanth's improvement as an actor is a very positive sign. He also dances well. Sonam Bajwa is very beautiful and she is a very good performer too. She can make it big if she makes right moves. Prudhvi leaves the audiences in splits with his comedy timing and dialogues here and there. Brahmanandam hardly evokes any laughs. The film has some other good performances.

Technical aspects

Anup Rubens' background score is good. The production values are good. The producers have spent lavishly on some sequences. Cinematography is good. The screenplay is not so engaging.

Plus Points

Sushanth's improvement as an actor

Sonam Bajwa

Naga Chaitanya and Akhil's cameos

Interval twist

Minus Points

Routine story and screenplay

Illogical sequences

'Aatadukundam Raa' is another formula film. G.Nageswara Reddy, who made some very successful comic capers in the past, is not up to the mark this time and the comedy in this movie is just fine. Sushanth has improved as an actor and Sonam Bajwa looks very beautiful opposite him. But the routine story is a big minus to the movie.30 Years Industry Prudhvi manages to entertain the audiences. Other comedians are ok. All in all, Akkineni fans may like this film.

Aatadukundam Raa is a run-of-the-mill entertainer Rating 2.5/5
