Balakrishna shoots with 1000 men, 200 horses and camelsMay 23, 2016 06:43 AM
The first schedule of Balakrishna's 100th movie 'Gautami Putra Satakarni' has been completed and director Krish is very happy that things have fallen into place and they could complete the schedule in time. The 'Kanche' director was floored by the dedication of Balayya, who worked around 14 hours a day for the movie and has put in lot of effort.
The war episodes between Balakrishna and Kabir Bedi were shot in this schedule. Around 1000 junior artists, 200 horses and camels were used for the shoot. The second schedule starts in Hyderabad soon.
Produced by Saibabu Jagarlamudi and Rajiv Reddy, the film is being produced by Bibo Srinivas. Devi Sri Prasad is composing tunes and Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry is penning lyrics for all the songs.
This film is being made on a lavish scale and the makers are reportedly spending a bomb on the war sequences. Hema Malini plays Balakrishna's mother Gautami in the movie. Ram-Laxman are choreographing the action sequences and some Hollywood fighters also took part in the shoot. Krish is making sure that the film will have all the commercial elements and at the same time doesn't deviate from the history.
