Balakrishna to play a farmer?Mar 24, 2016 03:55 AM
After much deliberation, Balakrishna is said to have finalized Krishna Vamsi as the director for his 100th movie. The 'Khadgam' director is said to have prepared a powerful script for Balayya and the latter was very excited with it. As per reports, the 'Legend' actor will be seen as a farmer in this movie and he may don dual roles.
This film will be set in a rural backdrop and Balayya will be seen as a farmers union president. If everything falls into place, this film will hit the floors in May or on June 10th, coinciding with the 'Simha' actor's birthday.
In his illustrious career, Balakrishna played many different roles and this is the first time he is playing a farmers' union president. The current situation of farmers in our country is pathetic. A majority of them are working very hard to make ends meet. Seeing Balayya fight for the welfare of farmers would be a treat for audiences, especially poor peasants.
So, veteran director Singeetham Srinivasa Rao will have to wait for Balayya to direct the sequel of 'Aditya 369', which is titled 'Aditya 999'. It will probably be the actor's 101st film. Names of directors like Anil Ravipudi and Krishna also cropped up recently. But seems Balayya has decided to go with KV.
