Bandla Ganesh associates with Rajinikanth's filmMar 24, 2016 03:55 AM
Bandla Ganesh has been not associated with any film after 'Temper' and he has been off the radar for a year. But he recently announced that he will be distributing Lawrence's 'Naga Bhairava' in Telugu. Though he didn't disclose the amount, he is said to have clinched the deal for nearly Rs.25 crores since the director's previous horror comedy 'Ganga' raked in good moolah at the box-office.
Now as per the latest reports, Bandla Ganesh has been now trying to grab the Telugu distribution rights of Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Kabali' and has offered a huge amount to the Tamil producer Kalaipuli S.Thanu. He will probably the one who bags the rights as the amount he offered is much bigger than others. An official announcement will be made soon.
The look of Rajini has been a hit with the fans and the film has been making huge buzz ever since it's inception. The 'Lingaa' actor will reportedly be seen as an aging don in the movie and the major part of the film is being shot in foreign locations. Radhika Apte is playing the female lead in this movie, directed by Pa.Ranjith of 'Madras' fame. The music is by Santosh Narayan.
The film was supposed to be released in Summer, but Rajinikanth has reportedly asked the producers to postpone it in light of the Assembly elections in Tamil Nadu. The announcement regarding the release date is also expected shortly.
