Former union minister, Rajya Sabha member Chiranjeevi visited Perupalem, the village he adopted under Prime Minister's Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana. He laid foundation stone for development works with the funds allocated under the program. He has been received warmly by the villagers.
Before that he inaugurated a community hall in his home village, Mogalthur. The hall is reportedly built with Chiru's own funds. Chiranjeevi is currently busy with the preparations for his daughter Srija's marriage, which will be held next month.
On the work front, the Megastar is expected to start working for his 150th movie once the issues surrounding the film are sorted out. It is well-known that a writer named Narasimha Rao has claimed that the story of 'Kaththi' was stolen by Vijay from him. Several associations in TFI are supporting the writer and the remake will go on floors only when the decks are cleared.
