Chuttalabbayi Movie ReviewAug 22, 2016 05:17 AM
After the failure of their previous movies, Aadi and director Veerabhadram have been desperate to score hits. They teamed up for 'Chuttalabbayi' and the film has made good pre-release buzz. Both the hero and director exuded confidence that the movie will be a hit. This film has been released today (19th August). How is the movie ? Read on..
Babji (Aadhi) is a loan recovery agent. Kavya (Namitha Pramod) tries to escape from her house in a bid to avoid the alliance set by her brother (Abhimanyu Singh), who is an encounter specialist. Babji helps her, but the rival gangs start chasing them. Babji takes her to his village, where his father (Saikumar ) tries to get him married to another girl. Eventually Aadhi falls in love with Kavya. How he wins his love against all odds forms the rest of the story.
Technically, the film is good. The music of Thaman is the major highlight. Songs are well-picturized. Editing and art direction are ok.
Aadhi's performance is good and he also dances well. Heroine Namitha Pramod has to impress. She looks good, but she has to improve regarding the way she emotes. 30 Years Industry Prudhvi's comedy is good.
'Chuttalabbayi' turns out to be a routine commercial entertainer. Aadi and 30 years industry Prudhvi's performances are good. But the storyline is not fresh. The first half is good with a good interval bang. But the second half is not so good. All in all, the film is an ok entertainer.
Routine Commercial entertainer. One time watch.
