Complaint on RGV's Vangaveeti MovieMar 24, 2016 03:55 AM
Vangaveeti, eccentric genius Ram Gopal Varma's last film in Tollywood, is making nonstop noise even before it went on the sets. RGV, in his recent video, stated that Vangaveeti will explicitly depict the violent faction feud between the Vangaveeti brothers and their political opponents in Vijayawada.
With the filmmaker also claiming that the film will have several key roles played by noted political personalities like Rajiv Gandhi and NTR etc, the Gandhi Global Family's Sarvodaya Federation expressed serious concerns over the communal and political disharmony the film may create in the state after its release.
Today, the Federation members requested AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu to scrutinize the script of Vangaveeti and ensure that the film will not rake in fresh violence between both the communities.
The members also filed a complaint with the Vijayawada Commissioner of Police and sent requests to the censor board and the Film Chamber in this regard and appealed to RGV to make the film devoid of all controversies.
