Ekkadiki Potavu Chinnavada Movie ReviewDec 08, 2016 05:15 AM IST
'Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada' is another different attempt from Nikhil, who has carved a niche for himself in Tollywood with some interesting films. He teamed up with VI Anand, the director of Sundeep Kishan's 'Tiger', for this fantasy thriller, which also stars Hebah Patel and Nanditha Swetha. The film made good buzz before the release and read the review to know if the film lives up to the expectations.
Arjun (Nikhil) is a graphic designer, who works for 'Baahubali' movie. He doesn't believe in spirits. He goes to Kerala for the treatment of his friend (Vennela Kishore), who has some psychological problems. He meets Amala (Hebah Patel) and they fall in love. Eventually, the story takes unexpected turns. Nanditha plays a ghost in this movie and her role is going to be interesting. The rest of the film is all about whether Arjun starts believing in spirits or not, why a spirit is trying to reunite with her lover etc.
The story is good and the screenplay is interesting. Apart from thrill, it has good comedy. The director Anand has done a pretty good job. The VFX work is done well. Sekhar Chandra's music and background score are also good. The art work is good. The production values of the film are superb.
Nikhil impresses in the lead role. Hebah Patel is beautiful and her performance is also good. Nanditha Swetha, who already acted in many South Indian films, makes a good debut in Telugu with this movie and she did complete justice to her role.. Vennela Kishore, Satya and Prudhvi etc tickle audience funny bone with their comedy.
