Since 'Swamy Ra Ra', Nikhil has carved a niche for himself in Tollywood by selecting different scripts. His upcoming film 'Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada' also created intrigue with the teasers and the posters. This movie, directed by V.I.Anand of 'Tiger' fame, releases on 18th November and Nikhil interacted with the media.
Excerpts from his interview..
I get nervous before the release of my movies and this time I am even more tensed due to the currency ban and it's impact on the collections. But we are quite confident about the content of the movie and are sure that audience would lap it up.
Fantasy + love story
I play a graphic designer, who works for 'Baahubali' in this movie. I was very excited when V.I.Anand narrated this story. Apart from the very new fantasy elements, the film has a good love story. I am sure audience would love the movie.
The film has five heroines and we didn't reveal all the names, as their characters are meant to be surprising as per the story.
I've been acting in different films for few years and audiences are receiving them well. So I wait for such subjects even it gets late. I don't get involve in the creative side once I finalize the script. But when it comes to promoting the film, I have my own ideas and try to make the film have a maximum reach. I don't compromise regarding it.
My movie with Sudheer Varma is currently on sets. I am also going to work with Chandoo Mondeti next year.
