Talented hero Manchu Vishnu, is now gearing up for the grand release of his upcoming action entertainer Dynamite. On the eve of film’s release, we caught up with him for an exclusive interview. Let’s see what he has to say
What made you to remake ‘Arima Nambi’ in Telugu ?
Arima Nambi was made with a brilliant script. I was quite thrilled after watching the film and immediately decided to remake it.
Tell us briefly about Dynamite ?
Dynamite is a commercial entertainer which is laced with superb action episodes. There is a strong conflict point in the film which will connect with everyone.
What did you choose Deva Katta to direct the film ?
I felt that Deva Katta is a sensible director who can execute commercial elements perfectly. He did a superb job and presented the film exceedingly well.
How different will your role be when compared to previous films ?
This is the first time I will be seen in an out and out action entertainer. The action episodes in the film are quite hard hitting and are executed in a racy manner.
Tell us about Pranitha’s role and performance in the movie ?
The entire story revolves around her character and Pranitha showed a lot of promise while shooting for the risky sequences.
‘Vishnu turns Jackie Chan in Dynamite ‘. Explain briefly on this quotation ?
I said it because Dynamite will feature Jackie Chan style of action episodes.
You are doing a lot of offbeat films. What is the main reason behind this ?
I want to prove myself as an actor and it is the right age for me to try movies in different genres.
Are you planning to take up direction in future ?
No ! ‘I am not a good story teller and am very satisfied and happy to be an actor.
What are your upcoming projects ?
I am planning to do Bhakta Kannappa next year in Tanikella Bharani’s direction. I am listening to some more scripts and will announce their details very soon.
