Megastar Chiranjeevi, who was last seen in 'Khaidi No.150', is making an impressive comeback after one year with the film titled ‘Syeraa’. The movie is based on the life story of a freedom fighter, ‘Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy’ and is a periodic drama. Megastar fans who saw Chiru on the big screen a year ago, are curiously waiting for Syeraa's release.
The shooting has commenced in the month of December and the team is said be on a break for a month. According to the reports, Chiru is unhappy and discontented with the director's work. He felt the outcome is not up to his expectations and therefore, rumors swirled that he asked for the change of director. Sources inform that Megastar even discussed about the same with Surendar Reddy.
Noted directors like VV Vinayak and Gunasekhar have been considered to replace Surendar Reddy in the film, but filmmakers din't confirm the news. The latest rumor is that, Chiru met K Raghavendra Rao and asked him to direct the film. But, the veteran director immediately rejected the offer and straight away told that he is not in a mood to direct a film with the current situations.
The film is bankrolled by Konidela Production Company and is schedued for a release in 2019
