'Kabali' Telugu rights fetch Rs.32 croresJun 17, 2016 12:17 AM
Rajinikanth's 'Kabali' has been creating new records regarding the pre-release business. The Telugu rights of the film were bought by Praveen and Chowdary of Shanmugha films for a record price of Rs.32 crores, which is the highest ever amount for a dubbed film.
Earlier Rajini's 'Lingaa' and Shankar - Vikram's 'I' rights fetched Rs.30 crores each and now the Pa.Ranjith directorial surpassed that record. Though Rajinikanth's previous two films failed miserably at the box-office, 'Kabali' is doing stunning business and it once again proves the potential of the Superstar and age is just a number for him.
Kalaipuli S Thanu is the producer. Radhika Apte is cast opposite Rajini.
