'Lakkunnodu' Movie ReviewFeb 16, 2017 05:51 AM
After successful movies like 'Dhenikaina Ready' and 'Pandavulu Pandavulu Tummedha', Manchu Vishnu and Hansika teamed up for the movie 'Luckunnodu'. Raajakiran, the director of movies like 'Geethanjali' and 'Tripura', directed this movie, produced by MVV Satyanarayana, who also plays the villain in the movie. This movie has hit the theaters. Read on to know how the film is.
Lucky (Manchu Vishnu) is believed to bring bad luck upon his family members and those around him. His father gets irritated by his presence. So much so, he asks his son to leave home. Lucky falls in love with Positive Padma, whose father (Tanikella Bharani) brims with positivity. Eventually, Lucky gets to lay his hands on a bag containing Rs 25 crores.A villain (MVV) also starts chasing him. How did Lucky get that bag and what are the consequences form the rest of the story.
Manchu Vishnu is at his comic best and his performance is one of the major highlghts of the movie. Satyam Rajesh, Posani Krishna Murali, Vennela Kishore and others tickle the funny bone of audience. Hansika is beautiful, but he gets a very limited role. MVV Satyanarayana as a villain does a good job.
The dialogues of Diamond Ratna Babu are good. He along with the director comes up with a good screenplay, though the story is not fresh. Music of Achu is ok and so is the background score. The cinematography and choreography are good.
Some scenes in second half
'Luckunnodu' has good entertainment and has good performances. The scenes between Manchu Vishnu and Satyam Rajesh work well and Vennela Kishore, Posani's comedy is also good. 'Geethanjali' director Raajakiran comes up with an ordinary storyline, but the screenplay is good. The dialogues are also fine. The film has a good interval block. But the second half should have been better. All in all, the film is a decent entertainer.
