Mahesh and Pawan target Rs.100 crMar 24, 2016 03:55 AM
Reaching the coveted 100 crores mark is no more a dream in Tollywood. 'Baahubali' did it and set the bar very high.
Now Mahesh Babu, whose 'Srimanthudu' did wonders at the box-office and raked in huge collections, has targeted the Rs.100 cr mark with 'Brahmotsavam'.The film is poised to release on April 28th and the unit is said to have been very confident that the Sreekanth Addala directorial has all the potential to reach the magical mark. This film is being made simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil.
Another movie on which the distributors are betting big is 'Sardaar Gabbar Singh'. This Pawan Kalyan starrer has huge hype and hoopla surrounding it and the film will probably hit the screens on April 8th. If the Bobby directorial has a right mix of action and comedy like 'Gabbar Singh' had, reaching Rs.100 crore mark wouldn't be a big task for it.
Given the potential of the Superstar and Power Star, it would be only a matter of time before their films cross Rs.100 crore mark.
