The audio launch event of Superstar Krishna's 'Sri Sri' was held on Thursday in Hyderabad. This film, which also stars Vijaya Nirmala and Naresh in important roles, is directed by Muppalaneni Siva of 'Raja' fame. Mahesh Babu graced the event as chief guest and launched the Big CD, audio and theatrical trailer.
Mahesh Babu said, "I was excited seeing dad's look in the film, four months back. It reminded me of my childhood days. I am the biggest fan of my dad. He comes to my functions everytime, but now I am happy that I attended his movie function. I wish the director, producers and the whole team all the very best. I hope this film will be a big hit".
Krishna said, "I am very happy that I completed 50 years in the industry as an actor. On this occasion, I want to thank two persons. One is Adurthi Subbarao, who introduced me as hero with 'Thene Manasulu'. The other is producer Doondi, who producer 'Goodachari 116'. That film garnered me an image as a mass hero and made me the energy to complete 50 years in the industry. I haven't acted in a good film for 6 to 7 years and when director Siva approached me with this Marathi subject, I immediately agreed to act in the film. The film will be 100 times better than the Marathi film".
Sudheer Babu said, "I played a small role in this film. I may have delivered a super hit like 'Bhale Manchi Roju' and may act in a film like 'Srimanthudu' in the future. But no film will give me satisfaction like this film did. It is only because of Krishna garu I am here and got recognised as an actor".
Muppalaneni Siva said, ""Everyone who reacts strongly when system fails is a 'Sri Sri'" is the concept of the film. It has been a pleasure working with Krishna garu".
Krishnam Raju said that 'me and Krishna share a very good bond' and said Krishna is a Rebel producer. Revealing how strong their friendship is, Krishnam Raju said that when he wanted to adopt Krishna's younger daughter, Krishna said 'yes'.
