Majnu Movie ReviewOct 12, 2016 08:06 AM
After the cute love entertainer 'Uyyala Jampala',director Virinchi Varma has taken a break and prepared the story of 'Majnu'. Starring Nani in the lead, the film introduces cuties Anu Emmanuel and Priya Shri as the female leads. This movie, produced by Gemini Kiran, has hit the theaters today (23rd September). Read on to find out how the film is.
After breaking up with Kiran (Anu Emmanuel), a dejected Aditya (Nani) moves to Hyderabad. He falls in love with Suma (Priya) and when she asks about his girlfriends, Aditya tells his love story with Kiran and how a misunderstanding lead to breakup. But little does he know that Suma and Kiran are relatives and what happens when he comes to know about it wil be interesting. The film has interesting moments and watch the film to know whom Aditya wins finally.
Needless to say, Nani's performance is superb. He is brilliant in comedy and sentiment as well. Anu Emmanuel makes a good debut with this movie and this big eyed beauty is a treat to watch in some scenes. Priya Shri also does a fine job. Vennela Kishore's comedy is very good.
Gopi Sunder's music and background score are good. Gnanasekhar's cinematography is brilliant and the visuals are very good. The screenplay is entertaining, though the story is not fresh. Dialogues are good.
Nani and Anu Emmanuel
Vennela Kishore's comedy
'Majnu' is a triangular love story with good entertainment. Nani's performance is excellent in this movie and Anu Emmanuel is also good. Vennela Kishore's comedy is hilarious and in tandem with Nani, he tickles the audiences' funny bone. Director Virinchi Varma has taken a routine story, but the entertainment and beautiful moments here and there makes the film a fun ride.
Majnu is a decent rom com. Watch it.
