Telugu actor Aadhi, who has been successful in Tamil, has been awaiting a break in Telugu. He teamed up with his brother, director Satya Prabhas for a movie titled 'Malupu', which is based on some real life incidents happened in the life of the latter. Raviraja Pinisetty produced the film. The Tamil version was already released and the Telugu version has hit the screens today (Feb 19th). Let's get into the details of the film.
Hero (Aadhi) is a happy-go-lucky guy and he spends all the time with his friends, against the warnings of his parents. He along with his friends even skips final exams so as to spend time in college for one more year rather than getting into the rat race by coming out of the college. All the friends go to a pub to celebrate New Year. But with one incident, their life completely changes. The life of hero turns upside down with that incident. What is that incident ? What are the consequences ? Why does the hero go to Mumbai to meet a don ? Find the answers to these questions by watching the film.
Aadhi shows his acting prowess as a guy, who is reckless and also as a confused guy stuck in a helpless situation. He is very good in his role. Though Nikki Galrani has nothing much to do in her role, she looks good. Mithun Chakraborthy as a powerful don is impressive as usual and this role would surely get him many more roles in South. The actors, who played the friends of Aadhi, have also performed well.
Shanmugasundaram's photography is very good and he showcases the locations in Mumbai in very good light. The music is not so impressive but the BGM is good. The production values are rich. The editing is also impressive. The screenplay of Satya Prabhas also keeps audiences hooked.
