Nani's AWE highlightsMar 22, 2018 06:54 PM
( This review is written partially as per Nani's request on not revealing the spoilers. However, our review will give a brief apprehension on the concept of the film)
Nani's film Awe! released today in the midst of huge expectations. The film casts Kajal Agarwal, Nithya Menen, Avasarala Srinivas, Eesha and Regina in the lead roles. These mentioned actors played unique roles as a chef, magician, a traveler and so on.... The film is receiving good response and it is an innovative thriller drama.
The story is a synthesis of individual stories. They all meet later for a common cause.
The first half will be the introduction of the first four main characters. Each character will have twists and turns that will certainly impress audience. One needs to watch it to experience it. The fish and Bonsai tree gives a fascinating imagery to the film and proves the brilliance of script writers. Needless to mention, Nani and Raviteja's voice-overs are the ultimate highlights of the film. The hilarity in Ravi Teja's voice while talking about his life as a tree scored well and will leave the theater in laugh riots.
A great message is conveyed in the film on molesting and abusing women. The movie's only minus point is a bit of lag in narration. Writer and Director Prasanth Varma did an excellent job with a new concept. This is a novelty for Telugu audience. Background score enhanced the situations well.
But some people may not accept the concept of climax and some will really appreciate the hard work by the film-makers. Avasarala Srinivas' role in the film is vaguely illustrated and this will not be fathomed by many. We need to wait few more days to get a clarity on the response from the audience as this new Hollywood-like concept will only be comprehended by selective people.
Over all, a brilliant screen play, very unique concept, a much needed social message conveyed.
