Predictable but pleasant love story

Srikanth's son Roshan, who earlier acted in 'Rudhramadevi, is making his debut as hero with the teenage love story Nirmala Convent. Nagarjuna and Nimmagadda Prasad are the producers of this movie, directed by G.Naga Koteswara Rao. Shriya Sharma, who acted as a child artist in "Jai Chiranjeeva', is also making her debut as heroine with this film. This film has hit the screens today. Read on find out how the film is.


Sham (Roshan) and Shanti (Shriya Sharma) are classmates in Nirmala Convent. Shanti is a rich kid, while Sham is from a poor family. Both of them fall in love and Bhupathi Raju (Aditya Menon), father of Shanthi, doesn't like it and even sends goons to beat up Sham. David (Surya) is the father of Sham. The two families have a feud over one acre of land for years and Bhupathi Raju agrees to get his daughter married to Sham if that is settled. But he cheats David's family and the rest of the story is about Sham wins his love against all odds. Nagarjuna played himself in this movie. Does he help or create obstacles to the pair ? Technical aspects

Roshan Saluri's songs and background score are beautiful. Cinematography is also good. The production values are rich. Coming to the story, it is not fresh as expected.


Srikanth's son Roshan gives a very good performance. He is an actor to look out for and he has a bright future in Tollywood. Shriya Sharma looks very beautiful and confident. She can make it big, if she makes right choices. Nagarjuna's role is another big plus to the film. He played himself in the film and his role will be a treat to his fans.

Nirmala Convent is a good teenage love story. Though the story is not fresh and gets predictable after some time, there are beautiful moments which makes the film worth a watch. Nagarjuna, playing himself, entertain in the second half and he does a fine job. Roshan and Shriya Sharma are here to stay. They give superb performances. All in all, the film is a beautiful love story.
