Mahesh Babu Spyder movie interview

One of the most awaited movies of the year, 'Spyder', will be released on 27th September and Superstar Mahesh Babu is all excited about it. He is very confident that the film will be a huge hit and hopefully he will be back on the success track after a flop like 'Brahmotsavam'. He interacted with the Tollywood media ahead of the release of the film.

Murugadoss and I have been planning to work together for a long time. It's been more than 10 years since we mooted the possibility of teaming up. Finally, everything fell into place last year. Murugadoss is a Pan-Indian director. Working with him has been a dream-come-true for me. It's been a great experience. We are looking forward to see the verdict of the audiences.

Proper bilingual

When we started the film, I felt like I just had to mouth dialogues in both the languages and that's what a bilingual is all about. I felt it was very easy. But once we worked for a couple of days, I've realized how tough a job it is. We had to shoot some very difficult sequences in both the languages, the actors were different and we had to manage everything. But once you watch the film you will get to know how perfect this bilingual is.

The action sequences will be the highlight in 'Spyder'. It's a stylish action entertainer. There are good emotions. There will be an underlying message too

No truth in those rumours

There is no truth in the rumours that I will be seen in dual roles in the movie. The Spider seen in the first teaser has nothing to do with the movie. It was just a concept teaser. We would have revealed it in the trailer if it is true.

He is brilliant

At first, I was surprised when I got to know that SJ Suryah will play the villain in our film. But he is just brilliant. No other actor would have done justice to the villain's role in Spyder like Surya did. We had only a few face-off scenes. Bharat has also got an important role to play.

Out of this world

The songs will be loved if you hear them repeatedly. But I have to say that the background score in the movie is just out of this world. Harris Jayaraj has given an outstanding BGM.

Thorough professional

Rakul Preet is a thorough professional. But for her, the film would have been delayed. She had to work hard for the Tamil dialogues. But she has given her best.

Will work with Rajamouli

SS Rajamouli and I have decided to work together. The film will start once we are done with our commitments. Right now I don't want to talk much about 'Bharat Ane Nenu'. Our producer will reveal the details soon.
