NTR breaks 'Baahubali' recordMar 24, 2016 03:55 AM
NTR's next movie 'Janatha Garage' is yet to hit the floors, but the business the film has been doing is shocking. The film is said to have been sold in almost all areas already and the producers are said to have been already in profit zone.
As per reports, the Malayalam rights of the film have bought by a leading distribution house for a whopping Rs. 4.2 crores. It is a record amount since Rajamouli's 'Baahubali' was sold for Rs.3.25 crores. Mohanlal is going to play a crucial role in this movie and it might be one of the reasons behind the hype around this new movie. Since Koratala Siva and NTR's previous films 'Srimanthudu' and 'Nannaku Prematho' were big hits, the expectations reached a notch higher.
The film is being produced by Naveen Yerneni, CVM Mohan and Yalamanchili Ravishankar under Mythri Movie Makers, the banner which produced 'Srimanthudu'. Samantha and Nitya Menen play the leading ladies in this movie.
The first schedule of the film starts at a special Garage set erected at Saradhi Studios in Hyderabad in a few more days. The makers want to release the film on August 12th.
