Nagarjuna as mentalist Rudra surprises and he was very good in his role. But Samantha steals the show in the movie. Though she gets a small role, it is the most important one in the film and her performance in the climax is excellent. She was very good in the sentiment scenes. Both Nag and Sam impress with their performances. Seerat Kapoor is glamorous and plays a good role. Vennela Kishore, Praveen, Ashwin, Shakalaka Shankar, Vidyu Raman entertain.
SS Thaman's BGM is like the 'soul' of the film. The score sends chills down the spine and was excellent in emotional scenes as well. The sound design was very good. Diwakaran's cinematography is quite good. The screenplay was very good. Ohmkar made sure that the film appeals to youth and also family audiences mixing good comedy, glamour, horror and sentiment into the story. The dialogues by Abburi Ravi were very good. Production values of the film are good.
A few scenes in the first half
Though the film has been titled 'Raju Gari Gadhi 2', it has nothing to do with the first part and has a completely new story. Though the film was touted to be a horror comedy, the sentiment in the film dominates. The sentiment scenes were well written. Kudos to Abburi Ravi for heart touching dialogues and Ohmkar for his direction. Samantha's episode is very good. Nagarjuna is as charming as ever though he plays a mentalist. He gives a subtle performance and his scenes with Samantha were very good. The flashback episode was good. The film has a very good message, which will strike a chord with the youth today. The film will sure impress family audiences. All in all, 'Raju Gari Gadhi 2' is a very well-packaged movie, which has good comedy, horror and sentiment. Watch it.
