The regular shooting of Ram Charan's 'Dhruva', directed by Surender Reddy, has started today (Feb 22nd) in Hyderabad. The film is the remake of Tamil Super hit thriller 'Thani Oruvan'. Rakul Preet Singh steps into the shoes of Nayanthara and Aravind Swamy retains his role as the baddie.
The makers are planning to release the film in August. Allu Aravind is producing the film under Geetha Arts banner and it is being co-produced by N.V.Prasad. Hip-hop Tamizha, who composed music score for the original, has also been roped in for this movie.
The producers are so confident on the subject that they are not considering the sentiments. Rakul's previous movies with Charan and Surender Reddy, 'Bruce Lee' and 'Kick 2' were failures. But the makers are believing only in the story.
