Classic Entertainments, which earlier distributed many successful South Indian movies in Overseas, has bagged the distribution rights of Mahesh Babu's 'Brahmotsavam'. They are said to shelled out a record price for the rights, considering his popularity in overseas market. They have also distributed 'Srimanthudu', which raked in over $2.8 million in overseas.
The Superstar commands a great following overseas and has already five million dollar films to his credit, which is the highest number for a Telugu hero. The Sreekanth Addala directorial is making very good buzz ever since it's inception since the duo of Mahesh and Addala earlier worked for a super hit film like 'Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu' (SVSC).
The film is being made simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil. Satyaraj plays Mahesh's father in this movie and some important roles are being played by Revathi, Sayaji Shinde, Jayasudha etc. Kajal Aggarwal, Samantha and Pranitha are the leading ladies. Mickey J Meyer is the music composer.
