Srirastu Subamastu Movie ReviewAug 22, 2016 05:09 AM
Allu Sirish's first two movies failed at the box-office and he is yet to taste a success. He teamed up with Parasuram of 'Solo' fame for the movie 'Srirasthu Subhamasthu' and has pinned hopes on the movie. Sirish romances Lavanya Tripathi in this movie, which also features Prakash Raj, Rao Ramesh, Sumalatha etc. Let's see if the movie ends his wait for a success.
Siri (Allu Sirish) falls head over heels in love with Ananya (Lavanya), a middle class girl. But Siri's father (Prakash Raj) has a hatred towards middle class people as he is of the opinion that they try to settle in lives by marrying rich. He doesn't want his younger son to fall into a trap just like his elder son and so is against Siri's love. But Siri challenges his father that he will win his love by pretending to be a middle poor.
Sirish has improved as an actor and he performs well. Lavanya Tripathi is good. Prakash Raj, Rao Ramesh, Sumalatha etc are good as usual. Ali, Subbaraju and Prabhas Seenu leave the audiences in splits.
Thaman's music and re-recording are good. The songs are also well-picturized. The production values of Geetha Arts are topnotch. Manikantan's cinematography is also very good.
The story of 'Srirasthu Subhamasthu' is beaten to death and has not even have an iota of freshness. But the director is successful in entertaining the audiences with good comedy, romance and family sentiment. His dialogues are also very good. Sirish has shown improvement as an actor. The comedy tracks of Ali, Subbaraju and Prabhas Seenu are good. The film ends up as a decent family entertainer.
'Srirasthu Subhamasthu' is a decent family entertainer.
