Telugu Actress Donates 10 Lakhs To ChennaiMar 24, 2016 03:55 AM
Film stars from different industries have donated for the Chennai relief fund. Rajinikanth, Vijay, Suriya, Ajith, Dhanush, Siddharth and others from Kollywood have donated at large to restore their hometown of Chennai. Bollywood stars like Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan have contributed for the cause. From Tollywood there has been huge efforts for the welfare of rain victims. While Allu Arjun, NTR, Prabhas, Ravi Teja, Varun Tej etc donated in lakhs, actors like Rana, Manchu Manoj, Navadeep, Lakshmi Manchu and many others are actively involved in relief activities.
The other day they have organized a campaign named ‘Mana Madras Kosam’ to raise funds. Large number of supplies like food, medicines, blankets, water bottles are being carried from Hyderabad to Chennai on trucks on behalf of Ramanaidu Trust. Samantha extended her support to the trust through her Pratyusha Foundation. Well, not many actresses have donated in cash though.
One budding heroine grabbed eyeballs by donating 10 lakhs. She is none other than Sri Divya. The Telugu actress made it big in Kollywood. She is most sought after actress in Tamil of late. Her films like Varthapadatha Valibar Sangam and Khakki Chattai have been super hits. Sri Divya has considerable hits in Telugu as well. Her youthful entertainers like Kerintha and Bus Stop are hits here. Sri Divya is emerging as new age girl-next-door. She is currently busy with Bangalore Days remake which has Rana, Arya and Samantha as her co-stars
