'Baahubali's monstrous success has paved the way for more high-budgeted films. Many filmmakers now are daring to dream big. After the Rs.1000 crore 'Mahabharatha', starring Mohanlal, now a film based on Ramayana has been announced.
Three big producers Allu Aravind, Madhu Manthena and Namit Malhotra have come together to produce 3D Ramayana, which will be made in three parts. This movie will be shot simultaneously in Telugu, Hindi and Tamil.
A film, based on Ramayana, was made many years back. But as the film is going to be in 3D, we can expect that visuals like never before and the final war between Ram and Ravana will be sure going to be a visual treat.
Though the director's name and other details are kept under wraps, we can expect some top director to helm this movie and actors from South and North teaming up for it. It would be interesting to see who would play the lead role, Ram and Ravana. Obviously he will be a superstar. The shooting of this movie may start by the end of this year.Let's wait for more details.
It's good to see Indian film industry shifting it's focus from regular movies to really big films. Telugu filmmakers have largely contributed to this and we should be proud.
